I am so sorry for your loss, I couldn't imagine life without my little boy. I am so blessed to have a son of my own and cherish everyday I have with him.

Susie,

Yes motherhood is a wonderful God-given blessing. I have three children. Crystal (27), Mason (14) and Michaela (9).

I am sorry for your loss. As well, my daughter Crystal, lost her third child to SIDS in December 2006. We miss Matthew dearly and not one day goes by that we don't think of him. He too, has his angel wings and I am sure that Matthew and your son are laughing and sharing in Heaven.

We created a website for him, feel free to visit.http://www.matthew-jordan.memory-of.com/About.aspx His birthday was 9/12-he would have been 2. What better place to celebrate than in Heaven with Jesus.

I'm very sorry for your loss as well. I am only 22 and couldn't imagine having children at this age.

I do know however that motherhood is not something to be taken lightly. I am glad there are women out there who take it as serious and to heart like you do.

People like you make the world a better place. =)

Susi,
I read your blog with baited breath and ended up with a knot in my throat and tears in my eyes. I can't imagine living through what you and your family have lived through. You are a survivor! You are most definitely right in that you never know what may happen from one day to the next. Today is my youngest son's birthday and I think I have already kissed him a hundred times. I think I'll go in his bedroom right now and give him just one more! Congratulations on your pregnancy. It's the best thing in the world...
